Because it's colder indoors in winter, even though there is heating in the northeast, the actual temperature only stays around 18 degrees each year (in most old residential areas). This year is colder than usual, and even 18 degrees can't be maintained. It's often around 15 degrees, so I bought a small sun. Initially, I bought a small sun online for my parents' home, I didn't plan to buy one for myself, but then my mom bought one for me offline, and the online purchase arrived later.

Comparison#
Both small suns have two temperature settings. The offline one is 900w, and I don't remember how many watts the online one was (because I returned it later). The offline one outperforms the online one even on the first setting, and the online one looks loosely made. The only advantage of the online one is the automatic power-off safety feature when it falls. They both cost around 60 yuan offline (after my mom haggled based on my online purchase price), and the online one was 58 yuan.
Because the online one was not satisfactory, I returned it and then bought an offline one identical to the one my mom bought for me. They might be from the same store 😄.
Cost Estimate#
Since the first setting is hot enough, I rarely use the second setting. It's labeled as 900w power, which I think should be the power of the second setting. It costs 1 kWh for 1000w per hour, so let's assume 1000w. If it runs for 10 hours a day, the electricity cost should be 0.5 yuan (possibly 0.6), which is 5 yuan a day or 150 yuan a month. It doesn't seem expensive, and this is calculated based on the highest temperature. I usually only use the first setting and hardly ever use the second.
Discovery#
After using it for almost half a month, one day I decided to try the second temperature setting, only to find that there was no difference between the first and second settings!!! It seems like they share the same design, and this model may not actually have different temperature settings.

Actual Electricity Cost#
The actual electricity cost for December 2023 was 135 yuan, which is about 90 yuan more than when I didn't use the small sun, confirming my suspicion that it doesn't have different temperature settings as mentioned above.
